You are eligible to vote if you:

- Are a Canadian Citizen

- Are at least 18 years old

- Reside in Brampton, or are the owner or tenant of land in Brampton or the spouse of such owner or tenant

A Message From Bob Dosanjh Singh

I came to Canada over 30 years ago to build a better life for me and my family. I have seen the way our governments and leaders shape our lives.

As a proud resident of Brampton, it is a community that is not only close to my heart, but one that I deeply understand and wish to improve and contribute to.

It's where I live with my family, where my children went to school and made friends, and where I started my business and created employment opportunities. But above all, it's where I call home.

It is disheartening to see Brampton in it’s current state. Our leaders are divided, ridden with scandals and wasting the money of hardworking taxpayers like you and I.

Our city Council members are not showing up to meetings and have lost sight of what they were elected for.

I feel with my fellow residents of Brampton as we’re left wondering what the future of our city looks like. Every day we hear about new crimes, robberies, and scandals in our city. Meanwhile our neighbouring cities are thriving, and we're left feeling like Brampton is being left behind.

This is going to change when I become Mayor. I believe in Brampton. I believe in our community. I believe we need to end corruption at City Hall, make Brampton safer by tackling crime, and deliver on basic and major city services.

This is not a campaign. This is a cause. And I can’t do it alone. I need your energy, your vision and your support to make this happen.

End corruption at City Hall

  • Remove corrupt City Hall insiders like Patrick Brown & Nikki Kaur from office.
  • Develop an open bidding & tendering process for city contracts.
  • Relaunch audit into Brampton University consulting scandal.
  • Clean up hiring process for city staff, especially executive positions.
  • Practise cooperative government to unite city council.

Tackle crime in our communities

  • Lobby for police projects to tackle violence, car theft, & dangerous driving.
  • Lobby the Ontario government for more police stations.
  • Increase traffic cameras on major roads to reduce dangerous driving.
  • Expand Community Safety Zones around schools & residential areas.
  • Create police support offices at colleges, trade, and international schools.

Deliver basic and major city services

  • Address the backlog in city building permit delays.
  • Improve access to washroom & hygiene facilities at all city parks.
  • Improve water drainage in low-lying areas and new residential areas.
  • Continue city-funded upgrades to Peel Memorial Health Centre.
  • Address the funding gap & delays for public transit upgrades.
